FAQ
What do you want to know?
Are you the model?
If you are and want to be credited in the image description, please just let us know. Importantly, if you are the model and do not want even your abstracted image displayed here, just let us know. We will remove the images even if you signed a model release.
Did someone post your creation?
The ethics of digital artistry become more confusing every year. However, what is not confusing is representing someone else’s verbatim work as your own. If you someone has posted your work, let us know. If we substantiate the claim, that individual will be banned from the collective.
Want to purchase a non-digital piece?
Many of the most wonderful works on this site were done on real-world canvases and with real-world paints. If you wish to purchase, one of these, let us know. We will ask the artist to reach out to you. AINC takes no part or commission in these sales.
Do you own/create a source photograph?
Some portion of the images here began life as a photograph. This is particularly true of the purely digital creations. For the most part, the process of artistic abstraction takes an image far from its beginnings. If you created and original source photograph and would like credit in the family description, just let us know. Alternatively, if you want the abstracted image taken down, we will.
Have ideas how to make this offering better?
Thanks. Maybe you are an artist who knows how we can create a process that is more accommodating. Maybe you are a web designer who thinks we should look/perform better. Maybe you are an editor who thinks we should have paid more attention in school. Just shoot us a note.
Want to purchase a digital piece?
This is coming soon. Artists set their own prices. Generally speaking, most images will be available as 16-, 30-, or 45-inch-tall high resolution photo prints or printed on canvas. We are currently shopping for printing partners who we can trust to reliably deliver great quality and customer service. If we can find the right partner, we will also offer museum framed pieces.
